The TRS2818D mounts two monitors side-by-side above a keyboard tray on a heavy-duty arm. The gas-spring cylinder within the arm is motion-resistant, making it ideal for frequent keying sessions as the arm will resist vertical movement. The monitors and keyboard tray sit a fixed height from each other, but both the monitors and keyboard trays can be tilted for comfort and viewing ease. The arm offers 18 inches of vertical travel, providing movement is not restricted by a mounting surface such as a desk. The arm comes with three tray options: a standard 20-inch wide platform, a 26-inch wide platform and a 27-inch wide metal platform with a palm rest.
MONITOR WEIGHTS
The lifting capacity of the total solution also depends on the tray selected since the 27-inch metal keyboard tray is heavier than the 20-inch and 26-inch trays. In summary, the arm can handle two monitors weighing 2-12 lb each if using the TRS20 or TRS26 tray and 0-12 lb each if using the TRT27 tray.
This workstation is also available as the TRS2818S monitor and keyboard tray arm, which mounts a single monitor.
